Adalet Ağaoğlu, one of the most prominent authors of the 20th century Turkish literature, visited Diyarbakır on 27 November 2002 as a guest speaker on two panels at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine Conference Hall and Diyarbakır Arts Center.
The panels titled ‘Essay and Literature’ and ‘Time and Space in Novel’ covered the topics of literary genres, comparative literature studies, and elements of novel. Both panels attracted great interest; members of the audience enjoyed the opportunity of meeting Ağaoğlu in person and getting their books autographed by her.
