Diyarbakır Sanat Merkezi
Places: Diyarbakır Arts Center, Hotel Buyuk Kervansaray , Southeast Journalists Association, Dicle-Fırat Culture and Art Center

Within the scope of the first two of the Meetings Without Boundaries programs, eight talks, one film screening, and one exhibition were held in Diyarbakır in collaboration with Citizens Without Boundaries and the Consulate General of Sweden. A series of multilingual, multicultural talks were held with the participation of writers, poets, and academicians from Turkey and Sweden. The diversity of the activities and venues was also reflected in the diversity of participant profiles. Participants from different backgrounds engendered an interactive discussion atmosphere. One of the significant outcomes of the meetings has been witnessing that people with such diverse perspectives on certain matters can actually establish a dialogue during the discussions that also bore heated debates from time to time.
