Diyarbakır Arts Center held the exhibition titled ‘The Young Eyes of the Caucasus II’ October 6-22, 2006. The exhibition, which featured photographs by four artists from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Turkey, was an output of the efforts of Anadolu Kültür in Kars from 2005 onwards, towards establishing cultural collaboration in the region. Kars Art Center was founded in this line as a cultural communication center not only for Kars, but also for Turkey, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. In September 2005, Özcan Yurdalan facilitated a workshop within the scope of the Caucasus Cultures Festival. Participants shaped the theme and scope of their projects during this workshop and then photographed their countries accordingly. ‘The Young Eyes of the Caucasus II’ exhibition comprised the outcomes of this workshop process.
