Diyarbakır Arts Center hosted the ‘Poetry of İlhan Berk ‘ event, held in honor of İlhan Berk, one of the most experimental poets of Turkish poetry. Berk’s poetry does not get old as it is constantly searching for and transforming the new, as it adheres to some of his fundamental quests. The event held on October 16, 2004, in collaboration with Yaratım Arts and Literature Magazine published in Diyarbakır, poems of İlhan Berk were recited by famous authors and poets. İlhan Berk was the guest of honor of the event and gave a talk on his life and literary journey as a poet. Berk later met with his readers and signed his books.
